About Lane
Lane Christensen serves as Associate Director, Wealth Advisor for Sequoia Financial Group.
Lane graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accountancy and finance. Lane was an active participant in the University’s student-managed investment fund, where he served as vice president of the communication services sector and performed equity research for the endowment fund. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation granted through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Lane is a native of Amery, Wisconsin, but now resides in New Richmond, Wisconsin. He enjoys nearly any outdoor activity, but spends much of his time playing golf, hiking, hunting, and fishing with friends and family. In his free time he also enjoys volunteering as a coach and camp instructor for local Youth Baseball programs.

Personal Insight from Lane:
My family has an impressive track record of careers in helping others. My father is a police officer, my mother worked in emergency services, and my brother is a firefighter/paramedic. With this backdrop, it’s not surprising that from a very young age, a passion to care for others has been instilled in me.
For me, financial planning is my avenue to make a difference in the lives of others. In my time as an advisor, I’ve developed genuine relationships that go well beyond the topics of finances and investments. It’s an honor to engage with clients about their life goals and personal aspirations, and I’ve learned that there is no greater feeling than earning a client’s trust and giving them peace that their financial matters are in good hands.
