About Kyle
Serving as a Tax Specialist at Sequoia, Kyle provides support to the firm’s tax advisors in developing and implementing strategies that consider clients’ comprehensive wealth plan. Kyle regularly calculates tax projections and promotes a high-quality client experience with the thorough preparation of materials and proactive communication.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Kyle obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Although he made the decision to pursue an accounting major as a junior—much later than many of his peers—with determination and grit he completed the program and the required credits to be eligible for the CPA exam in just five semesters. In addition to his studies, Kyle was involved in intramural basketball and the Accounting Society.
A native Wisconsinite, Kyle hails from Ellsworth and currently resides in Bloomington, Minnesota. In his free time he enjoys sports—especially basketball—and is a video game enthusiast.

Personal Insights from Kyle:
After my first two years in college, I was still unsure of what I wanted my profession to be. A friend suggested accounting, and I quickly found that it was the profession I’d been searching for. The value and relevancy to the business world was immediately apparent. An internship illustrated how my skills could be developed and utilized to improve the lives of clients.
My favorite thing about working at Sequoia is how I learn something new daily. My colleagues are the best resource for learning about the world of integrated wealth management, and questions are always encouraged. I’m excited to grow my skills and knowledge to assist clients in reaching their goals. With great leadership being brought by experienced colleagues, I am confident and pleased in having Sequoia to pursue a meaningful career in which I can enrich the lives of others.
