About Jake
Jake Edin serves as Senior Associate, Tax Advisor for Sequoia Financial Group.
Jake spent the first few years of his professional career working for a large accounting and consulting firm where he held responsibilities as an individual contributor and supervisor for the preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts, and entities. Jake is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs. He also holds the holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation granted through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Jake grew up in Amery, Wisconsin, but currently resides in Northfield, Minnesota. In the summer, Jake likes spending time golfing, on the lake, and at the cabin with family and friends. In the winter, he enjoys skiing, though he’s partial to the slopes of Colorado. No matter the time of year, you can find Jake rooting for the Vikings and Wild.

After receiving a few paychecks from my first jobs as a grounds crew member at a golf course and concrete laborer, I began to learn the true value of a dollar. I discovered a passion for personal finance and the many ways to build generational wealth. While I can’t convince my family and friends to have the same passion, I strive to share with them the importance of gaining knowledge of their personal finances to help set them up for a better future. I am eager share this passion with our clients to support them in achieving their financial goals and dreams.
