Ed earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York, and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Ed was a founding member of Chartwell Investment Partners, an $8.3 billion institutional asset manager.   He was also the founder and General Partner of Zeke, LP, a privately offered long-short equity hedge fund. Prior to co-founding Chartwell, Ed was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Delaware Investment Advisers, managing institutional assets in small and mid-cap growth styles as well as the Trend and DelCap Funds. Under his leadership, The DelCap Fund grew  from $50 million to $3 billion and was the number one performing fund for the 5-year period ended March 1991 and the 10-year period ended March 1996.

Ed is a member of the CFA Institute. Originally from NY, Ed and his wife, Janet, moved to the area in 1980 and have three children. Ed is very active in the Delaware Valley Children’s Charity.
