Dan Russler co-founded Family Asset Management as an RIA in 2004. He has more than thirty years of capital markets experience–the last twenty of which have been in wealth management advising high-net worth clients and multigenerational families. He also served as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Family Asset Management.

Dan is currently the Investment Committee Chairman on the Finance Committee of St. Philips Church. He is also a founding member of the nonprofit organization Cusabo Nation Lacrosse and South Carolina Youth Lacrosse. Additionally, he is a Roper St. Francis Foundation Fellow. Dan and his wife, Libby, have three children and have lived in Charleston for almost thirty years. He enjoys boating, cycling, golfing, coaching youth sports and traveling with his family.
