Gee earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his MBA from James Madison University.

Prior to joining Zeke, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. As part of the senior leadership team of the Private Wealth Management group for 13 years, his responsibilities spanned many roles. Most recently he was the Chairman, CEO and President of the Goldman Sachs Trust Companies, which served as the corporate trustee for over $17 billion of both private client and institutional assets. His additional responsibilities included serving as the head of Wealth Advisory Services, a nationwide team focused on working with clients and their advisors in the areas of wealth, tax and philanthropic planning. He served as a trustee for the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund, the Kirchman Foundation and was the head of the finance committee for the board of the Agnes Irwin School.

Gee lives in Haverford, PA with his wife and three children.
